This week the North America show jumping crowd gathers at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. From the early morning until late night the national and FEI riders will give their best in the different jumper and hunter classes.

Set with a beautiful indoor arena, and some nice outdoor hacking arena, the riders are spoiled with dry, indoor stables and all the luxury they wish. But what to do when you just have some spare time?

Well you’re in Vegas (baby) … Although the South Point Hotel is a 20 to 30 minutes drive from the ‘strip’, nevertheless there’s plenty of other stuff to do.

You’re in a hotel that has a casino and one of the biggest bowling lanes in Vegas. Just gather with some friends at the bar, and go play the tables! It’s a must do experience and it’s fun!

During the day the Sout Point hotel offers a nice outdoor swimming pool and SPA. We must be honest and open, there’s nothing more ‘chill’ than having a nice swim and afterwards enjoy some SPA time, getting all freshened up.

From the casino floor you can easily go to the nitlife club of the South Point, however there are better opportunities at the strip. The MGM Grand Hakkasan Club or the Hyde in the Bellagio. But one of our favorits is the Marquee day and night club.

Alle with Male entrance and bottle services starting at 1.500 USD.

Well yeah there are nice breakfast places in the South Point hotel, but please do not stay there for a culinair adventure. Instead we advice you to visit a little restaurant a little bit outside Vegas.  The Tuscany Grill, Steak and Sea food is a must go. Lovely food, great service and just the pre-party (in your belly) you need before visiting the clubbing life.

If you just want to head for the strip, experience the complete Vegas you can start at the Hard Rock Restaurant or if you like it a bit more refined, just visit Eatt, a healthy options from executive chef Yuri Szarzewsk (7865 W Sahara Ave #104, Las Vegas).

Pre Nightlife

If you just want to start the night easily, go visit a show. The Jef Dunham show in the Hollywood maybe? Or Cirque du Soleil, or ….

But don’t forget in the end you’re in Vegas, just step out of the hotel, take a taxi and have fun! It’s Vegas, you can go visit places in the desert, get wild on the stratosphere, visit all the hotels with their different experiences – they all have to offer something special!

And if you might get bored don’t forget, Las Vegas has plenty of shops! From Louis Vuitton, Prada to Versace, etc.
